Summary
You’ve always been a big fish in a small pond, but now you’re a small fish in a big pond. What you really want to be is a big fish in a big pond, but you might have to go through a few different ponds before you find it.”
‘Formerly Big Fish’ is a coming of age comedy about teens and twenties dealing with going from being a big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a big pond.
It follows Kat (a smut writing fangirl oblivious to her own sexuality), Lola (a drama queen wanting to follow her dreams without facing the realities) and Sadie (an academic overachiever struggling with anxiety) as they leave their emotional support English teacher’s classroom and venture into a world where nobody cares that you were a pleasure to have in class.
This is a studio preview event before a London production at the Hen & Chickens Theatre16th-18th November.
